Smarter - Yes or No?

I thought the discussion about the internet whether it is making us smarter or not was an interesting topic with numerous points that were enlightening. I could write a novel on all of my opinions, ideas, and experiences in only two years of teaching. Overall, the internet is not making us more stupid it is making many things more socially acceptable than in the past. People are becoming more lax about different issues.
